Fragility of perception

Collaborative editorial work published by the ENSAD, following a collaboration between art students from ENSAD, cartography students from Sciences Politiques and historians from CNHI (Cité Nationale de l’Histoire de l'Immigration).

Fragilité de la perception attempts to create links between the problems of representation faced by both cartographers and historians, and thus confronts the issue of immigration and that of representation in a media world. Three chapters entitled “producers”, “context” and “subject” try to define, through archives, visual and textual essays, the fragility of our perception of immigration and, in a larger scale, of images.
